The PHA Board Meetings are held at the Central Administrative Office in the Board Room on the fourth floor. The next PHA Board Meeting will take place on Wednesday June 26, 2013 at 9:00 a.m.
On November 28, 2012 the PHA's Board of Commissioners approved awarding a total of 18 Housing Choice Vouchers for use as Project-Based Vouchers (PBVs) to provide supportive housing in the following two projects:
1. St. Paul Old Home Plaza, LLC, 6 PBV units for Old Home Plaza located at 370 University Avenue West, the site of the former Old Home Dairy. The development will have 57 units (43 new construction units and 14 historic renovation units). The Aurora-St. Anthony Development Corporation is the co-developer, co-owner and co-manager of the project.
Old Home Plaza was approved by Minnesota Housing for $745,607 in Housing Tax Credits (HTC) and $1,342,982 in first mortgage funding under the Low and Moderate Income Rental program. The project also reported that it had secured $12.3 million in external funding. Minnesota Housing's Board of Directors approved the funding at its October 25, 2012 business meeting.
2. Project for Pride in Living, Inc. (PPL), 12 units for "Ujamaa Housing at Selby Apartments"; 700-710-716 Selby Avenue.
The PHA had offered vouchers for project-based use through Minnesota Housing's 2012 Consolidated Request for Proposals (the "Super RFP"). The PHA expects to offer a small number of PBVs in the 2013 Super RFP.
